Canada's ecoENERGY Awards
This award is given to the most fuel-efficient vehicle, determined by simulating a vehicle that runs for 20,000 km annually, 55% city and 45% highway. The Natural Resources Canada's Office of Energy Efficiency presents this award every year. Toyota remains to be the leader in this aspect by producing fuel-efficient vehicles. CAA Pyramid Awards
Each year, the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) conducts a Vehicle Durability Survey with thousands of Canadian motorists as respondents. The award goes to the manufacturer with a high percentage of owners who would likely buy the same vehicle again. This is calculated from the data gathered from responses on the last three model years preceding the survey. The manufacturer of the model that proves to be the best in each year's survey takes home the CAA Used Car Performance Award. Toyota has won this award a number of times which is why the CAA has stated that "Toyota is the benchmark against which to measure an owner's satisfaction."
